What is TEA Format

TEA format is a method to answer a question clearly. A TEA format contains 3 sentences which is the topic, evidence and Analysis.

Topic: The main idea you are talking
Evidence: The fact or example to support why your main idea is true
Analysis: Explain how the evidence support your topic

Example of TEA format

Example:

PBL is beneficial for student. According to the statistics, student in PBL classrooms scored 15% higher on standardized science tests than students in traditional classrooms. This shows that PBL is beneficial for student.

The Topic "PBL is benefical for student.", it described the main idea. The Evidence "According to the statistics, student in PBL classrooms scored 15% higher on standarized scientests than students in traditional classrooms." , this sentence proof that PBA classroom can make students to have a better grade, which is supported the topic that PBA is benefical for student. And the Analysis "This shows that PBL is benefical for student.", it supported the topic.
